We have for over a decade had a formal environmental policy to reduce waste and to carry out actions to improve and preserve the environment. 

Our working methods and operational lifts have achieved the following results:

Lift car lighting controlled by sensors to switch lighting off automatically when the lift is not in use to save energy.

LED bulbs in most circumstances.
Lift designs improved with a bias to lower running costs by utilising more efficient lifting systems and reducing motor size.

Licensed disposal of waste oil and other substances for controlled recycling or alternate use.

Strategically based engineers to reduce vehicle fuel use and carbon emission.
Lift car laminate panelling produced from recycled material.
Forward planning of work to reduce vehicle distance covered.
Good stock control and forward planning to avoid unnecessary urgent high carbon emitting forms of shipment such as air freight.
