Passenger Lifts
Our passenger lifts range from 2 person to 33 person with various combinations of automatic doors. Lifting systems can be either hydraulic drive (HYDRO DRIVE) or traction drive (MAG DRIVE). From a design point of view it is more cost effective to select hydraulic lifts up to 6 floor applications but thereafter traction drive is required due to hydraulic piston length limitations.
We are happy to offer a full lift consultancy service to assist our clients in making correct selections of equipment in order to obtain a lift to suit their specification and budget. Our experienced designers offer effective solutions to building issues which may seem difficult to overcome initially. HYDRO DRIVE
Hydro drive lifts are suitable for many applications and as a standard the hydraulic power tank and controller are located inside a purpose built motor room. For clients who require space saving schemes a cabinet can either be housed integrated within the lift shaft wall or remotely in a preferred location. The cabinet will contain the hydraulic tank unit and controller. Whether a motor room or cabinet option is taken the location can be up to 20m from the lift shaft.
MAG DRIVE
Traction lifting systems allow faster traveling speeds and a higher number of floors can be served. Our standard range of traction lifts are designed for up to 15 floors but a greater number of floors can be served for bespoke applications. Our standard traction drive systems are gearless and both motor room and motor room less systems are available. The most popular choice today is the motor room less option. Our gearless lifts also conform to the BREEAM requirements potentially earning 2 points towards your required BREEAM rating. Please contact us for further information.
BESPOKE DESIGN
Using the latest computer aided design; Chevron Lifts is able to offer its clients a true flexibility in design including incremental changes to car sizes, bespoke shaft sizes and a wide range of car interior designs. You need only to specify your end requirements to us and we will produce bespoke designs complying with legislative requirements. We offer a wide range of decorative lift car interior options within the standard price, but you will find that more individual bespoke design changes only incur small price increases
FINISHES – These apply to both Hydro and Mag drive lifts.
As a standard we offer Braille and tactile push buttons illuminated to comply to the disability directive. Our standard range of lifts consists of 6 lighting effects. We offer fluorescent back lighting and halogen down lighting with various finishes including powder coated, brass, stainless steel, mirrored, etc.
The walls of the car can be finished in laminate, fomica, virtually any wood veneer or metal finish the client may specify. We have a wide range of colours and effects to choose from. For prestigious buildings we can offer glass walls or a range of patterned stainless steel to coincide with the building’s décor. Flooring is also flexible with choices of anti-slip vinyl flooring, granite, steel or aluminium chequer plate. Alternatively you may wish to supply your own choice of flooring.
